Videography is the next big thing in selling homes

Property videography is a powerful tool for selling homes. Slick, expertly-shot video is a great way to draw attention to property listings – particularly as most house sales now begin with an online search. Powerful visuals are the key to standing out from a crowded market of estate agents, helping to catch the eye of potential buyers and generate more leads.

Our best photography of 2021

To celebrate our photographer’s best bits we run a monthly photography competition, imaginatively called Photo of the Month, where we pit a selection of the month’s best shots against each other. It’s done anonymously and is voted on by our staff, who are fierce but fair critics! Not only does it celebrate our photographers’ collective talents, it also promotes competition and keeps our team striving for greatness with each and every shot.

How To Prepare Your Home For Property Marketing Services

There’s a lot that goes into our property marketing behind the scenes, from clever camera angles to post-production editing to remove anything from cloudy skies to errant wheelie bins. When you book an appointment with us you’ll be sent guidance on how to prepare your property for our operator’s arrival — anything from putting away the bins to giving the place a good clean — but if you want to get a good idea of what to expect, take a look at this blog.

Why You Should Consider Dusk Photography

Though the nights are (finally) getting lighter, the early sunsets make the start of the year ideal for dusk photography. The low winter light creates a beautifully ethereal quality and the pre-5pm sunset means convenient shooting times for both clients and photographers.

With so many properties on the market and professional photography now commonplace, it’s a job to make listings stand out – this is the perfect example of when dusk and night photography can be beneficial.

We asked some of our photography experts in the office to answer some questions about this service: Tom Hancock, our Head of Creative, and John Williams, our Head of Photography.
