With such a varied selection of property marketing and surveying services Floorplanz rebrands to Fourwalls Group Ltd.
After much planning and consultation Floorplanz begins the process of shifting its business model to an employed team of full-time fieldworkers.
Managing Director, Owen Turgoose completes on the purchase of majority shareholding, having worked with the business for 17 years. Business partners, Lusitha and Nilanka Ramachandra invest and become Directors and shareholders bringing the ownership of the group together.
Having weathered the financial crisis Floorplanz continues to expand both its service offering and field worker network to over 130.
Floorplans and Floorplans London merge to form Floorplanz Ltd a national provider of property marketing and surveying services.
With their introduction by the government, Floorplanz starts to offer Home Information Packs and Energy Performance Certificates.
Owen forms a business relationship with a Sri Lankan friend from university Lusitha. Lusitha’s wife Nilanka starts to draw plans in CAD from sketches faxed from the UK. At the time, the internet was not good enough to email attachments.
Floorplans (London) Ltd launches a photography and brochure printing service alongside its floor plan service.
Having graduated from university Owen sets up a franchise of Floorplans in London - Floorplans (London) Ltd in incorporated.
Owen joins Floorplans, working as a part time floor planer and CAD operator whilst at university.
Alan Bookless joins Lyn to help provide management and administrative support as the business is growing rapidly.
Lyn Bookless founds Floorplans. Working from her dining room sketching and drawing floor plans in CAD on only the largest Country houses.
